PROJECT TYPE:

 

Change of use application

 

- Residential to commercial within the Derwent Valley World Heritage Site

 

- A new cafe & studio space

 

- Extensive external changes with additional parking and road openings

 

- New private Kennels with original footprint of an previously demolished outbuilding

PROJECT BRIEF:

 

Create a scheme that retains a balance of the original features of this 200 year old property whilst providing a flexible space for both the cafe and the studio. 

 

 

**Planning constraints were satisfied with amber valley borough council over a 4 month period - as this was a complex planning process  extension of time was applied to help achieve compromises with the heritage officers etc
